London Collections: Men kicked off to a sensational start today, celebrating the best in British design talent our fair Capital has to offer.
The name on everyone's lips being Topman Design, the in-house designed premium collection from Topman from the mind of Gordon Richardson. The Design and Development director at Topman. Graffiti print floral statements being the prominent and only genuine eye-pleasing aspect to come from the bold/odd menswear line.
Presenting a range of florescent and vibrant shades in short sleeved shirts, broad shorts with an Olympic varsity feel. Collegiate crop tops for men? Why Gordon? WHY!?!? Proving to be well and truly an acquired taste. Acquired being completely and utterly unwearable for the majority of men the world over.
That being said, I did however not entirely hate the Graffiti print floral shorts and matching bomber jacket. The grey and blue floral print blazer and short suit combo being my other noteworthy mention. The rest should be scrapped and given away for free.
Topman Design is available from London Oxford Circus and online at topman.com. Gordan Richardson is currently scanning the Times Job section for a new job and talking to illegal immigrants on an untraceable phone in the hopes he can acquire a new identity.
