Impacted. A series of high-end, avant garde pieces made from recycled glass and perspex materials from the mind of recent University of Ulster graduate Michelle McKeever.
Her one of a kind designs finding inspiration from a car accident in which Michelle broke her neck. Now fully recovered, McKeever stands proud as her enchanting pieces walk the walk on Man Time's debut catwalk show. Gaining phenomenal praise and reactions from the more than enthused crowd and press alike.
Many of whom I spoke to after who were all extremely interested in the collection as a whole. Although a close friend of mine did ask regarding the eproxy glass neck piece (main picture) "Is that a windscreen with blood on it?". The answer is yes. It is a windscreen, cut, molded and reworked into a stunning neck piece worn by our Man Time model Phelan. The blood is for dramatic effect and is not Phelan's.

Next came the equally exciting laser cut perspex neck brace inspired by an actual medical neck collar worn by Phelan's twin brother Cathan. Closing Michelle's run with three glass jagged brooches. Strategically placed on both shoulders with one in the middle of an ivory grandad collared shirt for a military avant garde approach.
