We haven't heard much from the Saturdays lately following the random release of '30 Days'. A mediocre track that did not appear on anything except the music channels...we aren't quite sure what happened there but thankfully the girls are back stronger than ever with the sensationally catchy reggae infused 'What About Us'.
Not content with a catchy number, Una, Frankie, Mollie, Vanessa and Rochelle have bagged themselves a hilarious fly on the wall reality show. And wait for it...it's set in LA and airs on E! as the UK chart toppers prep to break the American market.One way to do that? Perform a stunning acoustic version of your brand new single on a chat show. Done. And our girls did not disappoint representing the UK in fine form with perfected vocals and a stunning guitar infused arrangement. Of which Rochelle's angelic vocals really standout throughout from start to finish.
The girls show documents their time in America attending the VMAs red carpet bash and performing for Perez Hilton's VMA after party. It also features loud sexually active neighbours, Vanessa's boyfriend troubles and general UK girlband banter.
The Saturday's brand new reality tv show Chasing The Saturdays has aired three episodes Stateside with three more to come in the following weeks. The show is set to air here in the UK in a few weeks time. What About Us serves as the Saturday's lead single from their US EP 'Chasing The Saturdays' and serves as the debut track from their fourth studio album 'The Chase'.
